I'm happy to announce that my Mickey Mouse short "Road Hogs" was nominated for an Annie Award for best storyboarding. This is probably my favorite episode that I worked on. Maybe it's the California setting, maybe it's the choppers, or maybe it's because I just had a blast making this one. Cheers!

Work on "The Lego Movie 2"

After a year and a half storyboarding and designing on The Lego Ninjago Movie (In theaters 2017), I'm starting on The Lego Movie 2 (2018). Everything IS awesome. We continue to assemble a very talented team. A number of people who worked on the first one as well as new additions should make for a great mix. Throw in an intrepid director, Rob Schrab, and you have the making of a wondeful adventure. It's sequel time!

In time for Halloween, Disney posted my latest Mickey short "The Boiler Room" on YouTube. Check it out. I'm quite pleased with it. The Canadian animation studio Mercury did an amazing job pulling off some difficult scenes. Cheers.
